Maleny is just inland from the Sunshine Coast, boasting more mild temperatures, rolling hills, quaint cottages and breathtaking views all the way out to the ocean.

While Maleny is about 90 minutes from Brisbane and about 40 minutes from Mooloolaba, the good news is Maleny and the surrounding area is a wedding epicentre, with dozens of accommodations to choose from to suit every price point.

Walk around Montville Town

Montville is a very laid-back town with cute little shops and cafes just along the road, tucked between ancient trees and home to the world's best parking lot view (hint: it's located underneath The Pottery building!).

The Montville Clock Shop

This iconic clock shop feels like stepping into Bavarian Country, with intricate wooden cuckoo clocks, German souvenirs, beer steins and European Christmas decorations. Great spot for a unique souvenir!
