We would love for our guests to get dressed up with us and lean into the elegant aesthetic! Please dress to impress in your best formal attire, appropriate for 25° C / 77° F weather. Click here for a guide!
For men, we would love to see suits (linen is a great summer option!) but we understand the heat can be a lot - formal dress shirts tastefully paired with suit pants will be perfectly okay. Please no jeans/denim, t-shirts, sneakers or thongs/flip flops.
For ladies, ankle or floor length dresses. If wearing heels, we would advise wedges or block heels as the ceremony and cocktail party will be on grass. Please no shades of white/cream.
Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors, on the stunning grounds of Maleny Manor. Our reception will be held indoors inside the Manor. Please plan accordingly for the Australian sun - sunscreen is advised, and there will be a paper fan at each seat, along with a few large umbrellas. We kindly ask there to be no mention to the bride and groom about complaints over having a summer wedding, how hot it might be, or how much you'd rather not wear formal attire in the sun. Thanks!
Please arrive by 3:30PM to allow time for mingling and taking your seat. Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00PM.
While we love your little ones, we have decided to have our wedding be an adult only occasion to give all our guests the opportunity to celebrate without having to worry about little eyes and ears. We hope you understand!
Jack and Elise will be arranging a complimentary bus transfers for those staying in Maleny and the surrounding areas. For those driving up from Brisbane or in from the Sunshine Coast, there will be limited parking available so please indicate when RSVP-ing if you will require a parking space.
We're overjoyed to celebrate our special day with our loved ones! Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests who are formally invited on the wedding invitation that you receive and listed when you RSVP. If you have received a plus one, it will be noted on your invitation and digital RSVP. We hope you understand that this was not an easy choice, and we genuinely appreciate your understanding and support as we create an intimate and memorable day with our nearest and dearest.
We kindly ask that guests refrain from taking pictures or recording videos during the ceremony. This will be an 'unplugged' ceremony, allowing everyone to fully immerse themselves in the moment without distractions. Elise would also love to avoid spending hours photoshopping out iPhones and iPads (And you know she would!)
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
While Maleny is about 90 minutes from Brisbane and about 40 minutes from Mooloolaba, the good news is Maleny and the surrounding area is a wedding epicentre, with dozens of accommodations to choose from to suit every price point. There are bed & breakfasts, guest cottages, hotels, motels, AirBnBs and more! Please click the "Our Guide To Maleny" tab for more information.
